Phil Ivey has been referred to as the number one poker player on the globe by quite a few of the top-ranked pros. He was born in Riverside, CA and relocated to New Jersey before reaching the age of one. His papa taught Phil one cent-ante 5-Card Stud poker. Phil credits his achievements to hard work and a continuing passion for poker. He states that he’s picking up skills every single day and is very humble about his accomplishments. He admits to making mistakes in each game of poker and always aspires to improve.
Even though Phil has won some big tournaments, he favors destroying cash games on a normal basis.
