The value of Poker Position
Holdem is just about people and seating. All knowledgeable Holdem enthusiasts agree that position in no limit Hold’em is fundamentally important. Showing your hole cards in last position will be a whole lot more beneficial than in starting poker position. This is because a lot more info is amassed before acting.
i.e., I was playing a $1-$2 no limit cash game at a local spot. I limped in with 2, 9 unsuited on the dealer button, just to partake in a little excitement. Flop arrived A-A-4. Gambling at late position provides you an idea where you sit by observing how players behave and bet.
